Isaiah 43:7 NLT
“Bring all who claim me as their God,
for I have made them for my glory.
It was I who created them.”
As members of the Cross Bearers Motorcycle Ministry, each of us realizes that embracing true Christianity is about more than religious affiliation; it is about cultivating a personal relationship with God. It’s about following the teachings of Jesus Christ, and reflecting His love in our daily lives and in our daily interactions with others. Each and every thing that we do individually and collectively as a ministry must be purpose driven; from our prayers to the support of our community and our support of other worthy events. God, our loving Heavenly Father, wants each of us to find happiness and joy. That is why He created a plan for us to grow, a plan for us to live by faith, and a plan for us to return to live with Him someday. His plan gives meaning and context to our life here on earth.
It is a fact that having purpose is essential for a healthy life in a sin sick world. Having purpose reduces stress, simplifies life, and brings forth satisfaction and peace. Some would say that life without purpose is worse than death. Well, we are not totally sure about that as we have nothing to measure it against. However, we do know that when a person figures out what his or her purpose is on earth, that life seems to become easier, that life becomes more rewarding, and that life becomes more satisfying. This is by no means says that finding ones purpose in life eliminates suffering, pain, sickness, turmoil and evil situations. But it does mean that when we are suffering, when we are sick, when our lives are in turmoil or when we are in evil situations that we will survive simply because we have an established purpose to do so.
